Integrity in Action

Uncompromising Ethics. Transparent Relationships. Global Compliance.

A Commitment to Integrity

MEDSTEIN’s reputation is built not only on the quality of our products but also on the integrity of our actions. Our Code of Business Conduct serves as the moral compass for our company. It outlines the non-negotiable ethical standards that every employee, manager, and business partner must uphold.

We conduct our business with honesty, aiming to win in the market through superior quality and innovation, never through unethical practices.

1. Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Zero Tolerance: MEDSTEIN strictly prohibits all forms of bribery and corruption.

  • No Improper Payments: No employee or partner may offer, promise, or authorize any payment or item of value to a government official, healthcare professional (HCP), or private party to improperly influence a business decision or gain an unfair advantage.
  • Public Tenders: We compete fairly for hospital tenders based on the merit of our products. We strictly abide by the procurement laws of the countries in which we operate.

2. Interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)

Relationships with doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators must be transparent and focused on education and patient care.

  • Professionalism: Interactions should focus on informing HCPs about the scientific and technical features of MEDSTEIN products.
  • No “Kickbacks”: We do not offer commissions or personal financial rewards to healthcare professionals in exchange for prescribing or purchasing our products.

3. Gifts and Hospitality Policy

Business courtesies (gifts, meals, entertainment) must be reasonable, infrequent, and transparent.

  • Acceptable: Modest promotional items (e.g., pens, notebooks with company logo) or reasonable business meals during a meeting.
  • Prohibited: Cash or cash equivalents, lavish gifts, or entertainment that could be perceived as an attempt to buy influence.

4. Fair Competition (Antitrust)

We believe in a free and competitive market.

  • No Price Fixing: MEDSTEIN does not collude with competitors to fix prices, divide markets, or rig bids.
  • Respect for Competitors: We do not make false or misleading statements about our competitors or their products. We focus on our own strengths.

5. Confidentiality & Data Privacy

Information is a valuable asset.

  • Trade Secrets: Employees must protect MEDSTEIN’s intellectual property, R&D data, and engineering designs.
  • Personal Data: We respect the privacy of our employees, customers, and patients. We process all personal data in compliance with GDPR and relevant data protection laws.

6. Conflict of Interest

Employees must act in the best interest of MEDSTEIN. Any personal interest, financial or otherwise, that might interfere with an employee’s professional duties must be disclosed and resolved.

Reporting Violations (Whistleblowing)

We encourage a culture of “Speaking Up.” If you witness or suspect any violation of this Code, the law, or our company policies, we urge you to report it.

  • Confidentiality: All reports are treated with strict confidentiality.
  • No Retaliation: MEDSTEIN guarantees that no employee will face retaliation or discrimination for reporting a concern in good faith.
